  • From July to November 2024, the University of the Free State Online Application for 2024 is open. As a result, we encourage prospective students to apply online as soon as possible using the application form (Hard-Copy) for the 2024 academic year.

Documents Required for ATS Applications in 2024

The following documents will be required by the University of the Free State. They are as follows:

  • If you are a South African citizen, bring your ID.
  • If you are an international student, you will need your passport.
  • If you are under the age of 18, you must present your parent’s ID or passport. If you are over the age of 18, you must present your National Senior Certificate.
  • Your final Grade 11 results, stamped by the school
  • As soon as the grade 12 June results are available, they will bear the school’s stamp. It can also be emailed to studentadmin@ufs.ac.za, which is especially helpful if you have applied for a selection program.
  • Your academic record, only if you are a current student at another institution of higher learning USAF accreditation from the South African university examination board Apply for conditional exemption, foreign conditional exemption, or mature age conditional exemption at mb.usaf.ac.za.
