Opening and Closing Dates for GWC

  • All qualified applicants may immediately apply online through the George Whitefield College online Application tool, as the application window is projected to be open from May to November,

Eligibility Requirements:

  •  18 years of age.
  • in good standing at your place of attendance
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (GPAs under 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require additional documents outlined in a section below) standing as a sophomore, junior, or senior when the program starts.
  • When enrolling at the UCT, applicants must have completed at least three semesters of coursework (first-semester sophomores can apply).
  • Students with a sophomore standing may not be eligible to enroll in some courses at the local institution. For additional information, do get in touch with your IES Abroad Representative.

  • l return you to the screen where you must select the Admission/another button (clicking the right button here is important) You can then log in using the username and password you created in step one.
  • After completing your application, click the button to accept the terms and conditions before submitting.
  • Once your application has been filed, you must pay the R100 application cost. The system offers a range of choices.
  • If you use a bank to pay your application fee, be sure to email us the deposit slip with your application number as the reference.
  • Once you have finished the above steps, your application will be processed, and you will receive a student number and login.
