Mpumalanga online Registration 2024-2025

Mpumalanga online registration for the 2024-2025 academic year is now open. You can access the online registration system.

  • This information encourages prospective University of Mpumalanga UMP students to fill out the application form online OR download it from the school’s website.
  • Every student who wishes to begin a new qualification must apply for admission to the University of Mpumalanga UMP through the online application system of the University of Mpumalanga UMP.

The online application window for the University of Mpumalanga UMP is now open.

  • Applicants to the University of Mpumalanga for the first time
  • are pursuing a new qualification and/or specialization
  • Applicants who previously applied for admission but were not offered a spot, or who were offered a spot but did not register,
  • Students who have completed a higher certificate or another program and wish to continue their undergraduate studies


You will need the following items to apply for registration at the University of Mpumalanga UMP Online Registration:

  • An active email address
  • Your South African identification number
  • International students need a passport.

NB: Before you begin, make sure you have electronic copies to upload (accepted document types/formats are: pdf, doc, Docx, tiff, PNG, jpg, jpeg):

  • certified copies of your ID, Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate, and all other relevant documents
  • proof of non-refundable application fee (R150 for RSA/SADC applicants, R350 for other African countries, and R500 for countries outside Africa)


  • Step 1: Apply by clicking here, accepting the application rules, and clicking “continue.”
  • Step 2: Fill out your biographical information and then click “next” to continue with your application.
  • Step 3: Capture the details of the results, then add subjects and click “next”;
  • Step 4: Enter the educational institution’s information and click “next.”
  • Step 5: Enter academic application information (pick two options/programs to apply for), click “add a qualification,” and then “next”;
  • Step 6: Review your application details and then click “Continue.”
  • Step 7: Enter your 5-digit PIN (e.g., 24689), check the “I accept” (twice) checkbox, and then click “Submit Application.”
  • Step 8: Upload your documents, then click “next” after selecting “yes” from the dropdown list if all of your documents are ready to be uploaded.
  • Step 9: Select “Load/View Document.” “Document Upload” >> “Choose/Browse File” navigate to the folder containing your documents, select the appropriate document, and click “save”;
  • Step 10: After you’ve uploaded all of your documents, click “complete upload.”
  • Step 11: Confirmation Page, Application End
