North-West University Online Application 2023-2024

North-West University online application dates are now available. The university is currently accepting applications for the 2023 academic year. prospective students can apply online here. Applicants are required to submit the North-West University application form and the needed supporting documents. Applications will be processed based on merit and preference.

NWU Application Opening and Closing Date

In order to make sure that your application is taken into consideration, please submit your application during the application cycle before the closing date. Applications are taken from March through September 30 of each year.

NWU Online Application fee for Applicants

For South African applicants is free but international applicants must pay a R 550.00 non-refundable application fee upon application (for online applications). Please deposit using the following bank information here, and upload the deposit slip along with the rest of the necessary documents.

NWU Online Application Requirements for Applicants

All applicants beginning a new qualification are expected to upload all necessary documentation, which often includes the following:

Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

Things to note before applying online to North-West University:

You’ll need an email address to complete the application.
South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport numbers.
You’ll need to upload your deposit slip together with the other required documents.
