UNIZULU Online application requirements 2024-2025

We are writing to notify you that the University of Zululand (UZ) is presently accepting online applications for the academic year 2024-2025. If you have not already done so, please go to our website (www.uz.ac.zw) and follow the application steps. All applications must be submitted online through our website; no paper applications will be accepted.

Dates of entry opening and closing

  • Applications for admission to the class of 2024 are taken beginning in May and ending in August.

application prerequisites:

  • Applicants must have completed grade 12 before applying. International and transfer students are welcome to apply.
  • Candidates can download the application form from the CAO website or apply online.
  • Please visit the Central Applications Office (CAO) website at www.cao.ac.za and click
  • Identity A degree certificate or diploma must be documented (if available)

  • Proof of non-refundable application fee payment
  • Matriculation results/certificate

International students must also provide:

  • – A valid passport and study permit; a SAQA verification certificate; and proof of financial means (bank statements, bursaries, cash available/cheque traveler’s to the bank information listed below).

Online applications are accepted.

  • Register for the system at http://www.unizulu.ac.za. utilizing your email address and a password
  • You will then receive an email with a link to activate your account.
  • Click the link to activate your registration.
  • As a result, you will be sent to ROSS and must pick the Admission/Other pages (clicking the right button here is important)
  • Then, using the username and password you created in step one, log in.
  • Before submitting your application, click the button to accept the terms and conditions.
  • After submitting your application, you must pay the R100 application fee. The system provides several options.
  • If you pay your application fee through a bank, make sure
  • If you pay your application fee at a bank, please email us the deposit slip with your application number as the reference.
  • After you have completed the preceding steps, your application will be processed, and you will be assigned a student number and login.
