details regarding student access cards

  • Prior to receiving a student card, students must first register.
Student ID cards must be issued to 2024 first-year students.
Senior students who have student cards don’t need to get new ones; instead, online registration will activate their cards and make them usable.
The only way to enter UP campuses is with a valid student ID card.
Your student ID will be provided to you in Hillcrest Campus Hall 4’s registration center.
To get a student card, present your registration documentation. Upon registration, you will receive an email with a link to this proof of registration document, which is also accessible on the UP Portal (UP Student Centre). You can submit an electronic copy via your smartphone or tablet to the Cards Division.
  • Without a valid form of identification (ID, passport, or driver’s license), a student card cannot be issued.
The initial student card is provided without cost. You can apply for a duplicate card at the Student Service Center for the appropriate fee in the event of loss or damage.
Student cards that have been lost, stolen, or damaged won’t be replaced without identification (a photo ID, passport, or driver’s license).Access to the campus, its buildings, and its various computer facilities is granted through student ID cards. Always carry your student ID card with you. During exams and tests, the student card must be shown when requested.
