Opening and shutting of admission Date

• Applications for admission in 2024 are accepted starting in May and ending in August.

Student fees (estimate)

• R32 120 to R55 770 (this varies from degree to degree)
• Spend about R6 050 on books and office supplies.
• Please take note that the pricing stated is NOT inclusive of travel costs or gratuities.

eligibility requirements:

• Are you 18 years old?
• in good standing at your place of attendance
• 3.0 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale (GPAs under 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require additional documents outlined in a section below)
• standing as a sophomore, junior, or senior when the program starts. Applicants need to have at least three semesters of course work when they enroll at the UCT (first-semester sophomores can apply). Some local university courses may not be available to students of Sophomore standing.
